  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a structured psychotherapy designed to help people process and heal from traumatic or distressing memories. It was developed in the late 1980s by psychologist Francine Shapiro. It is primarily used to treat symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) but can also be applied to anxiety. EMDR can be integrated into a normal weekly individual session cadence or conducted in a pre-planned intensive session.

  • Yes! EMDR and other modalities can be woven into a regular cadence if appropriate. You do not have to schedule an intensive to benefit from this modality.

  • EMDR intensives provide structured, extended sessions to help you process deeply and efficiently — especially when trauma, burnout, or a major life transition feels overwhelming — so you can create meaningful shifts and return to performing at your highest level. Intensives are private-pay only with a minimum time frame of three hours. Please submit the contact form for more information.
