Meet your therapist

A young woman with long dark hair, glasses, and hoop earrings stands indoors near a wooden window frame, wearing a white button-up shirt and blue jeans, smiling softly with hands in her pockets.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here

I am a West Virginia University School of Social Work graduate and also hold Master’s degrees in Law and Legal Studies and Public Administration. I know first hand what it feels like to have the pressure of life’s expectations on your shoulders as a young professional, and as an athlete. I am an advocate for an active lifestyle having a history in competitive sports and bodybuilding and understanding that finding your identity and power after a shift can be difficult. I hope to offer my clients a place where all parts of ourselves can intersect. While I have a special interest in trauma work, other areas of focus include life transitions, high stress, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship recovery, and mental performance in both career and athletic environments. I primarily offers Telehealth therapy services, but look forward to speaking engagements, and partnerships that elevate mental health and lifestyle, and also enjoy mentoring.

What’s its like to work with me

A woman with glasses and long brown hair holding a book titled 'Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy' against a plain white wall.

I come from a background of utilizing strengths based, person centered approaches integrating dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also fully trained in Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) and am continuing consultation while becoming EMDRIA certified.

What to expect

Each session we will dive further into where you are and where you'd like to be. Treatment will begin with an introductory discussion and we will decide collectively how to structure your sessions moving forward to fit your need.

Enviornment

Sessions are conducted virtually wherein I hope to create an environment in which you feel comfortable to share openly. We will discuss goals together and periodically check in on your progress toward them.
